Sam currently serves as the Projects Director for the Ninkolle
Management Consulting which is a 100% black owned, run and managed
South African consulting firm offering integrated project management
and strategic consulting services. The company is a proudly South
African company, formed in 2003 and is owned and managed by business
partners who have a diverse and rich background, emanating from
working in a broad field in the corporate and public sector.
Nkosiyedwa Sam has more than 10 years development, private and
public sector specialist experience, with strong emphasis in Project
Management, Corporate Management, Performance Management (PMS),
Human Resources (HR), Organisational Management, Development And
Implementation of Development Projects, Strategy Planning, Change
Management, Business Process Re-Engineering (BPR), Integrated
Development Planning (IDP), Human Resource Strategy Development
(HRD), Organisational Design And Development (OD&D), Local
Economic Development (LED), Economic Sectoral Analysis, Development
of Sectoral Plans, Research and Development of Tourism Plans and
Implementation, Alignment of Economic Plans to LED Poverty Reduction
Programmes, Training and Development (T&D) And Research Undertaking.
He has undertaken integrated management and development consultancy
work for various portfolio of clientele including amongst others,
South African Revenue Services (SARS), National Treasury, Department
of Land Affairs, Mpumalanga Provincial Government, Financial Services
Board (FSB), Road Accident Fund (RAF), City of Johannesburg Metro,
BDB Data, ABSA, Southpaw. He has assisted in establishment and
ring-fencing of government agencies such as EDI, Regional Electricity
Distribution (RED) Establishment, Centlec (Mangaung Municipality
Electricity Utility), Mpumalanga Institute for Portuguese –
English Training.
Nkosiyedwa has diverse and rich developmental experience ranging
from project management, finance management, project planning,
research, materials development, workshop facilitation and community
development, gathered from a broad range of work in the NGO sector,
Municipalities, Provincial Governments, National Government, Education
Institutions and Private sector. He has worked with several donor
funds [USAID, GTZ, DFID, NORAD, ASALG] and has researched extensively
culminating into proposals reported into SARS, DPLG, DWAF, National
Treasury and Provinces. Furthermore, he has experience in managing
and running Black Economic Empowerment (BEE) companies which are
successfully doing business within South Africa.
Added to this experience is good understanding of Corporate Governance
[(as per King Report on Corporate Governance of South Africa (King
II)], Organisational Strategic Management, Public Finance Management
Act (PFMA), understanding of Financial Management and Budgeting
Process, Procurement and Tender Procedures, and well developed
Administrative Skills.
